The Red Faction: Armageddon Demo is the sequel to Red Faction: Guerrilla. It is set underground on Mars in the mines.
The story starts suddenly with your co-workers trying to kill you.
You start off with a charge launcher and only after half way through the demo do you get an assault rifle. The other weapons are interesting being a magnet gun and a singularity cannon.
Using L2 to rebuild structures is fun at the beginning but is a bit over used.
It is a closed-world game unlike Guerrilla and I hope that this is not the same in the full game.
All in all, I think that so far it is a major disimprovement from Guerrilla. Yes, the weapons (but no hammer) and the exoskeleton are fun but the underground is a confined area and also very dark which gets on my nerves. I don't think I will be getting this game.

Infamous 2 Demo
I just got it today and I need to tell you that it is amazing.
It is quite similar to the first Infamous (which was also amazing). This gives it a nice touch of familiarity without making it feel repetitive.
The combat is fun. The graphics are great.
The Amp is a nice add on to melee weapons and close combat. The combat itself is good but the Thunder Drop (the one where you jump off a building and whack the ground) is fairly inefficient. The Static Thrusters always come in handy.
The two sides of karma is also fun.
Overall, I think that it is a very good game and every PS3 gamer should get it. It's free!

The Orange Box
My personal favourite. 5 games in one great orange box; Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episodes 1 and 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2.
They are all great games. Portal being my most loved (Weighted Companion Cube). The HUD is very similar in the Half-Lives and Portal. The HUD for Team Fortress 2 is different but the controls are the same. They are all very realistic - except for Team Fortress 2 - and have great music.
This is a must!
